What is a phobia?

Why do they affect us so much?

Where do they come from?

Why do we have them?

A phobia is a deep fear of a person sublect or object. it can cause people to react in ways you've never seen them before! Some times it brings out a different part of you! Why does it do that?

some people blame their phobias on past experiences, some... who knows where they came from and why we have them!

There are some weird and wonderful phobias out there!

Yeah i watched it again last year and it was pap but when i was ten i ws really bad with horror films and i scared the poo out of me! I watched the exorcist at the same time but i was so scared of the clown it didnt bother me at all!

Bunch of worms. I watched IT when I was about 12 years old, and it bored me to tears.

i just dont wear them, over the years my immune system has built up so i not as bad with colds, i used to be terible.

i just wear a tshirt and fleesie/hoodie in winter..

Yeah, well it frightened most kids I know. The bit where his mate gets dragged backward through that tunnel that he couldn't possibly fit through...when he opened his mouth and showed his razor sharp teeth...damn, I'm scaring myself just thinking about it!

That's the most insane thing I've ever heard! So when you go out, do you wear a couple of jumpers instead? Or a hat and scarf? Or do you live like a reclusive hermit in winter, never venturing out of your house?

ok its like this. i cant wear a coat. im serious. when i was little mum made me wear one thaat day at school ALL the kids picked on me (and it was winter so i dont know why) anyway, now whenever i put one on i feel like everyones staring at me, it scares me and i cant wear them. so thats my deepest phobia. and yes i know its stupid but i swear its true.

I don't have anything against clowns (except for Top Bore) but IT was frightening.
