If it's been parsed out ans the DTD created includes this tag.. it could well be from XML!!

An acronym stands for something, eg APT stands for Advanced Packaging Tool, GNU stands for GNU's Not Unix, GIMP stands for GNU Image Manipulation Program etc... I don't think the tag actually exists.
