Meka's post prompted me to check and discover the most interesting Euro release information EVER!

The release date is weeks away from announcement but Germany seem to already know, more than 6 shops havea 15th of march release date scetched in, NOE said to one person that wave race is coming out march 15th or 22nd whats with that?

Then theres the Australian advertising the Gamecube launch already????

Nick Martin emailed Cube-euro and said that in his local EB a member of staff told him that the GameCube is to release on the 13th March, and they were to get a playable system in store the middle of February.

And more interestingly prices...

GC GAMES ARE: 59.90 Euros which is about £37'ish,
that is apparently the price of a game but expect it to end up as £40, and
looking at ngcshops's GC price of 249.90 Euros, That works out at £154.60,

Could my £160 price tag prediction after doubling the GBA's price be proven (double american GBA price = American GC price)???

Wow thats quite good news a game and a console for £200, dont take this as concreate info though, could all be wrong in the morning.

The games are 99% likely to be the same price, from SR at least. Optical Discs could very well be more expensive than DVDs.

hmm... hope some of these Ninty rumours flying around are true, especially the price tag one! If games are £40 RRP then that gives an edge over PS2 where in most stores PS2 games are £40-£45 (well, most places I have seen anyway...)

So that means in SR they'll probably be about £35 for the new titles. Hope that is right, and if the GC IS £160 (or anywhere under £199.99) then It'll be added bonus against the Xbox!

Sad fact is, we will only have about 50,000 units in the UK on launch day, so no problem with sell outs.

Why? Because Nintendo don't want to lose money, so they release all they can in the US.

Sad that, aint it :(

Can't really be bothered to read it all. But it's about GameCube, and after spending a week on ISS and GTA3 I don't even wanna think about what Ninty can do.

Sony rule!!

But there's no way the shops can prepare enough to make decent sales, nor whip up the required hype.

Yeah wasn't a certain day in November famous for the American release of the SNES, N64 and Zelda Ocarina of Time?

And as for good bussiness sense lets see Nintendo release console early so not to lose anymore sales to PS2 or X-box... people who can't afford one right now need not worry there is only 300,000 and by april there will be plenty.
