Oh dear, kids these days need an extra year?! GCSEs seriously need to be abolished and replaced with a new scheme, or at least sort of reset to what they were originally.

I'm bitter, and the only one that was impressive to me (but it was quite impressive) was your level 8 in maths. Congrats!

That seems horribly complicated.

We just got three scores when I did them, in Maths, English and Science.

I remember messing up my English story because the teacher had told us not to end the story with "and he woke up and it was all a dream." Finding this a tad patronising, and being 14, I did exactly that, but with a planned twist. I thought I was being dead clever.

Problem was, time went by remarkably quickly and I messed the twist up, leaving the ending more or less incoherent. Got a 7 in the end but I think the teacher wanted an 8 out of me.

They're mickey mouse exams anyway - for the school's benefit and little else. I think my old school are doing them in Year 8 now so they've got an extra year of GCSE.

Ane our English teachers told us that the Shakespere question was uni level... And we don't get our test result levels for English until mid August :|

sunflower i just remembered, don't forget because we got 5 and 6 for english that meens we've achieved a university level, because one of the test was at university level remember

We still only do those subjects the rest of the others are what the teachers graded us, and yeh i know they meen nothing its just to show the teachers are doing their job properly god dammit, i helped people to think the teachers are doing their job properly.....stupid stupid stupid
