"Gamecube: anyone imported like me?"

I bought a gamecube from a company in England for £345 with rogue leader, mem card, stepdow convertor and controller. I paid extra for a ntsc to pal convertor, so in total it was £375 inc carriage. I am impressed with the technical aspects of star wars and the differences in graphics compared to ps2 are noticeable. Apparently i am forbidden from selling the gc on, but how could they tell if i have or have'nt?
Would anyone consider importing like me?

I got my Cube from Lik Sang, it was £175 already modded, I got Rogue leader and ive just completed it-crap ending. Why wait for a UK release, Nintendo dont even know when they are releasing it!!! If you import, its cheaper, games are full screen and full speed, the games are released months or even years earlier! Some games are never released over here. If your lucks in, import machines will play PAL games, if not, Im sure someone will figure out how to do so.

An friend of mine living in America has offered to send me a Gamecube. Can't go wrong really. :D

my dad said that i had to sell most of my old consoles before i could import one. so i am. but im not paying 375 for one no sir ! (well done on getting one though) im getting a yank one from ebay for about £158+£20 shipping so about £180 altogether. sell it on if you want as it's yours ! dont listen to the peeps from where you bought it.

Same here, I just dont want to be in a situation where i have to buy all my games from JAP/USA.

If I knew for certain that it could eventually be modded to play UK PAL games on, I'd buy one today.

I was thinking of getting one actualll. A lot cheaper than what you paid.
