"Metroid Prime?"

Hi every1
I feel stupid asking this but what is the storyline for Metroid Prime because i dont know anything about it and also i have never played a metroid game.Can some1 help me plz

i could play em all exept for metroid 2

i still have a snes and super metroid

Or I could sav a bob and download them all.

Except for Prime.

If you had the following you could play all but Super Metroid on Gamecube:
Metroid Prime Disk - to play, duh.
Metroid Fusion cartridge - again, to play.
Metroid 2 GB game cartridge - to play.
GBA and Link cable - To link Fusion to Prime to unlock NES Metroid to play on GC.
Game Boy Player - to Play GB Metroids on Cube.

Hmm.

Have to 'emulate' all the rest.

I wanna play the story.

Because this is the chronological order of the storyline:


Metroid
Metroid Prime
Metroid II: The Return of Samus
Super Metroid
Metroid Fusion


Telling him what happens afterwards would be pointless.

Then why do we fight Mother Brain in Super Metroid too?

I know, didn't mean to cause offence.

I said I was cutting a long story short.

And that's the way it should be. Oh, and WS made stopping the Mother Brain sound easy; I can assure you, it wasn't.
