Okay, tomorrow is the notables election and, as msot of us know, there isn't really any current notable whose in here a lot. Yeah, I know they don't make much difference but who cares ? Let's see if we can get a wee coloured name for one of the regulars here yeah ?

I've taken a quick look at the notable election thread and I think everyone will agree that Savatt78 has a few peoples vote already from this forum, he's got mine too.

This guy is always helpful to everyone on here, so if you don't know who to vote for then vote for him !

Okay, go back to whatever you were doing now.....

I don't even know Sav very well, his name is pete and he lives... somewhere. But the guy sent me a FREE demo. FREE. Would the person you are voting for do the same, or would they post some witty remark?

Thanks again for the support everyone. ;-) You lot are making it very hard for me to pick who to vote for cause everyone posts good stuff in here.

Of course I'll be voting for an X-Box forum member, but thats not because I want a "representative" for this forum, its because its the forum I spend the most time in and the posters in here are the ones I see regularly. Plus as far as quality posters go, I don't need to even look any further than this forum. Had some great laughs on here over the past months and as far as the individual forums go, I think this one has a case for the most close knit group of posters. ;-)

Mystique's the crappest poster in the history of crap posters.

It wouldn't be so bad if she was funny.....but she's not.

The excitement of her being a girl has stopped now ever since everyone saw a photo of her, so quite why anyone would vote her notable is beyond me.

RM18 - Who ? I can't remember the last post he made apart from one in my Target:Fanboy post on Sunday....

Microchips - Again, never seen him

So even though I have never talked to either Microchips or Mystique I should still go ahead and vote for them?! That would be stupid voting for someone who I don't know and at the end of the day I am a wolf not sheep (Training Day speech) and my vote will go for the person who I think deserves it the most. If Sav doesn't get the votes then fine but I will not resort to voting for someone who I don't know.

A notable is someone who gives a great contribution to the forums on the whole. Therefore, seeing that Sav (although a decent poster), hardly ever ventures out of the X-Box forum, he shouldn't really be made a notable. And because of all this - it's highly unlikely that Sav will end up winning. To be fair - this election's going to be out of Mystique, and someone else (RM18 or Microchips?). Voting for anyone else would be (dare I say it) a wasted vote.

Vote tactically, and therefore for the person you'd like to win out of the two main contenders. Microchips has my vote.

I am voting for Sav purely and simply because he is a good poster and he has contributed a lot to the Xbox forum. Personally I agree with Phi11ip on this one and its stupid how serious people take the Gold name. Sav doesn't Spam, he doesn't do stupid posts about seeing a spider on a wall and he deserves it more than anyone else on these forums. If it wasn't Sav I would vote for Nomad (although I rarely see him these days) because they have contibuted well to the Xbox forum and they don't do stupid posts. The elections are just a bit of fun yet some people fail to realise this and take it FAR too seriously.

I'd expect that a lot of people would read your posts and..... wow, there's a 'clearance items' tab on the menu bar, I must go there...

You could actually call it tactical voting, like the last real election in the UK :) Besides what are the chances of anyone paying any attention to me or anyone else ?
