I think that it is imperative for Nintendo to make a grasp for the older and more mature part of the market, but I am still not so sure if they will do so.
The more mature approach will line up with the PS2 and the X-Box, which will mean a broader variety of consoles for developers to produce their games on, hence a more satisfied network of gamers. They have even aquired the sole licence of the Resident Evil series, does that mean more mature games all round?
I am sure that a lot of people will want games that appeal to them more, but at what cost? The loss of the younger market?
Nintendo has been relying on the younger generations for a very long time now, so is it feasable for them to ditch them now? Can they without too many repercussions?
I would like to here everyone's opinion on this subject. What do you think Nintendo will do? Stick with the young market, or move on to the more mature audience?
Please, make your opinions on this matter felt, I am interested to know your feedback.
Many thanks,
Alasdair

I was giving a topic for people to discuss!!!! I happen to be a very loyal Nintendo fan, who has NEVER owned a console that was not made by Nintendo! I have had a NES, SNES, N64, GameBoy, Gameboy Color, Gameboy Advance, and I am saving for a Gamecube. I find it rather ridiculous that you are attacking me, simply for suggesting a topic!!!
If you like something you obviously like it not to critise it about anything it does.

Is this attack made on me? I was simply putting a point across, and then hopefully I would hear the differents sides of the story from other people, I wasn't meaning to directly attack Nintendo, trust me, that would be the totally oppisite thing I would do to them. I have been a loyal Nintendo fan for many years now, and I do not intend on turning my back on them now, I am too "nintendo" to do such a thing!
