Everyone seems to hate Billy Gates, but give me one good reason why.

So, you are saying it is right to steal.
The law was made, he broke it, and thankfully is still suffering the concequences for his actions. Idiot (aimed at Gates).

Well he's the worlds richest and still want's more money why does'nt he just retire(and enjoy life) before he monopolises the rest of the world.

don't forget him and his company monopolize every thing leaving little room for competition so we are not advancing fast enough. 'i hate him for my computer being slow'

Like I've said before, much of what people hold against him is to be expected - he is a businessman after all, and at the end of the dat, the company is run for profit. The one thing I don't like is his unwillingness to make major advances - all of the MS product suites advance a little at a time, a few small improvements, but he could be doing so much more with the experience and resources he has in his control.

i am also voting for er on this subject.

I don't hate him. Don't like the way he runs microsoft as a monopoly, to be honest in the software industry it is hard to get buy without encountering problems from microsoft.

He tried to claim JAVA was property of Microsoft.
If he gets competition he buys them over
Software isn't tested enough before production.

Some stuff not a lot of people know.
He never started microsoft, just took them one step further.
In the early days Microsoft never wrote their own software, just bought it from others.
They tried to sell out to IBM who refused. BIG mistake.

But then again, he is a business man who is trying to make money and well he is good at that.
