Anyone seen it? I'd recommend it. It keeps the humour of all of Guy Ritchies films however uses a new angle - none of that gangster type storyline.

It's about an England football manager who gets sentenced to 3 years in prison. Here he a coachs a team of criminals to play the prison guards.

The match between the guards and prisoners is the highlight of the film and it's hilarious to watch you don't even need to be a football fan to enjoy it.

Absolute classic and I'll be sure to get it on DVD when it's released.

Vinnie Jones.
He can act tough. The end.
And as for his Hollywood movies?
He's been in the background for most of "Gone in 60 Seconds" and had one other part.

Hell, Lassie was in more movies than Jones.

And "Mean Machine", the original was anti-authority. The warden bullied Paul Crewe (Reynold's character) into organising the team, and forced him to admit he'll throw the game by killing his mate, Caretaker.

It rocked, it was violent, a social commentary and it had Richard Kiel, Burt Reynolds and genuine NFL stars of the 70s in it.

Now it's a soccer game in prison.

Apparently the original also had subtle anti-authority undertones. the new version has none at all. Worst of all it's another failed attempt to convince the cinema-going public that Vinny Jones can act.

When will they learn?

This film looks great. I want to know how the keeper does that like kick in mid air. On the trailer.

I have to see this film. Have, Have, Have.

Vinnie is great. Gone in 60 Seconds he was fun. Lock Stock, Snatch and loads of others. If it has Vinnie, it must be good.

I refuse to watch this one.
Because it's a flabby remake of the original with Burt Reynolds from the 70's.

"Mean Machine" is a massive cult-movie, and to see Vinnie "I can act tuff" Jones acting tuff is a travesty.

Mean Machine looks hilarious, I saw the trailer in LotR. Anything associated with LotR must be good, so I'll be going to see it.
