I found this!
"channel 5 would never get pay per views for one simple reason......Sunday night baseball, their contract with the networks means they cannot change the late night sunday slot from baseball, if no baseball, then they have US football. If I remember right, the superbowl is usually on the same day as the rumble, and channel 5 have that this year, unless i am mistaken and its on a monday, anyway, channel 5 will not show ppvs."
:( :( :(
Channel 5 (yes, channel 5) have said they are thinkingabout buying the rights to show Royal Rumble, Backlash etc. NO LIE!!!! ITS TRUE, ITS DAMN TRUE!!!!!!
P.S I signed both petitions and e-mailed some mates who like wwf the addresses
*Starts singing, "How bad, do you want RR, how bad, do want RR, how bad do want RR, how bad, do you want RR?"*
To the tune of "Oh, ah, it's Ambrosia!" (Must be sung in a Cornish accent).
As for Heat if Sky get these, I recon it might be more suited as a Sky One program rather than Sky Sports 1, and you know that they will pick a better timeslot that Channel 4 did. Something like 7/8 in the evening, or even the LIVE US MTV version, which would be Midnight over here, but I'd stay up and watch that
There is some good news for fans in the United Kingdom who are disappointed that the Royal Rumble will not be shown there. Sky may be picking up the rights to Sunday Night Heat and the four pay-per-views that Channel 4 recently dropped
What???
WHAT!??!
I said "We want the Rumble!"
WWWWWWWWWWWWWHHHHHHHHHAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
