I'm surprised to see Need for Speed: Hot Pursuit 2 winning an award, there.

No, not because it's a bad game or anything - I love it.
On the GameCube, it may have a bad frame-rate, the steering may be a little 'off', and it may be slightly different to the PS2 original, but once you give it time and really get into it, it becomes a brilliant game with all those Hot Pursuit challenges, even if the standard Racing ones are kinda boring.

Plus, I love the soundtrack!
Anyone know where I could buy it??

And my import copy on Animal Crossing arrived this morning, courtesy of Tiltawhirl. I'll be giving that a good-go all afternoon! :D

That's because we don't make great games, normally. Most RAREWARE games are good, but they only released Starfox Adventures this year, which, was rubbish, really. The only other British game I can think of is The Getaway, which was no better.

Need for Speed 2? Burnout 2 and Grand Prix 4 were better - even TOCA, bar the loading times.

Wah? Is this saying that LOTR TT has the best graphics or what? I'll give it one thing, fitting all them moving people on a screen all at once must have been really hard, but the graphics aren't all that. Resident Evil deserved it, although the game was terrible.
