Hi this is my first contribution to www.gameaday.com !! i played jak and Daxter since X-mas and i loved everything in it, from Daxter's whitty remarks to those stupid lurker sharks!!! I found the storyline a typical platformer and despite the 3 bosses i thought each one was different, but not vey hard. i completed it today and as i watched the end i had gotten all 101 power cells and i had heard of an alternative ending! as i watched to see if nething special was goin to happen, it was over and nothing left to do! i know it has been left open for a second, what with daxter still a rat thing and those evil two are probably not dead! So i want to know, is there goin to be a second one and when? e-mail me at [email protected] thank you for helpin me!

And when they do, what's the betting that Daxter doesn't get turned back again? OK, the original posting could have done with a spoiler alert, but surely the ending was pretty guessable? Either -

He wouldn't change.

He would change, and then get changed back somehow next game.

He would change, and then get captured (or something) next game.

I mean, who would want to play as Daxter in his goofy humanoid form....

If they'd killed off Jak or Daxter, that would have been so against the gameplay, and would have been surprising. Of course that wouldn't happen. It would upset the kiddies, and the marketing department. But wouldn't a cute game with an unpleasant ending be a genuine twist?

Hi there Wookiee. I was kind of surprised, as Crash 3 was a complete swine to get a high percentage on. I thought they may have gone for a similar level of difficulty. But like you said, it's just great fun.

I have nearly completed the game aswell. On 94% with all previous levels fully completed. Got the last level to do after the lava tube.

The game was FAR FAR too short... just finnished it today.. took all of 3 evenings!

However, I only have 93 orbs... so I'll totally finish it off tomorrow... I wonder whether the thing behind "the door" is at all worth it?

Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Not again! It might not be the MGS2 spoiler (which so far I have avoided), but having not yet completed Jak and Daxter, I did not know they were unsuccessful in turning him back!

Ahhhhhhhhhh! Please put up a spoiler warning!
