"Shigsy retiring?"

No it's not what you think. He's not retiring, yet. Shigsy was born on 1952. So he must be nearly 51 so in nine years he might retire when he's 60. Imagine Nintendo without Shigsy. They would constently bringing out old non-origanal games. Well they may but not as much if Shigsy left. Next thing you know Nintendo's given Capcom there Zelda rights even for GC. So if he retirires we are are in trouble. But I don't really think he will retire yet. He will probably retire when he's eighty like me I'm eighty!

Just a thought.

I would say it isn't really a factor because Shigsy's taking a less active role anyway. If it was his previous hands-on directorial role, which can be stressful, then I'd say he would be close to retiring.

Luckily for us, he has more of a producer's role, overseeing key titles and dispensing advice, so he'll be around for a while yet.

I think there might be some 'students' that he has. That he trains in the way of Shigsy.

Anyhoo.

Thats 9 years of excellence.

And stop saying you are 80.
