Saw Bladerunner last night for the first time in years and it's so awesome. It was the Director's Cut edition without the narration, had some extra scenes and a different ending. So so good. Was Deckerd a replicant? I think so. The unicorn sequence gave it away. But it raises so many questions. It blows the Matrix out the water by suggesting the same story and doing it better, years before. I love films that have that bleak future thing going on - Just seems more real than Demolition Man. Harrison Ford is the man too. Indy, Han, Deckerd. So many great characters, but he still looks like the most boring man in the world in all the interviews I've seen him in.

He tried to shoot Hauer though.

It was, like, symbolic or something.

And Deckard getting beaten up by 2 women androids.
Interesting fact pointed out to me:

Deckard only ever shoots 2 replicants, both women.
Anti-hero that can only kill girl robots.

And where did he get that dove from? Was it made by that 25/80 year old bloke who lived with the puppets?

Camp or not, I wouldnt want Hauer chasing me in his pants.

I'm beginning to think that Rutger Hauer is actually an android. The campest android in the world.
