Dark, brooding, atmospheric, downright violent, this game offered a brilliant alternative to the likes of Mario and Banjo (which also ruled). A Gamecube version of this game would be brilliant - the N64 version had me hooked for weeks, with a gripping storyline, labyrinithine levels, devilish enemies complete with lashings of blood. Add to that a psychological twist and some of the most inventive bosses and it made for one helluva platformer.
I looked at Shadowman: 2econd Coming (I winced writing '2econd') for Playstation 2, but from the reviews I read, they weren't exactly glowing. I remember reading in N64 (now NGC) that a Shadowman GC game was on the cards, then all talk of it suddenly disappeared. In my view, they should ressurect what was a burgeoning franchise, and add some healthy competition to the likes of Resi and Eternal Darkness.
Thoughts?

I completed the third level on easy and the game told me to get the other two levels I needed to complete the game on hard, noooo! It took me ages to.
I started again but by the time I hit level two I couldn't be bothered.
Sin and Punishment
I got to the first USA level.
Impossible.
Gave up. :D

On the contrary, I found it more immersive the further I progressed.
