the cup part? thats just after you fight the geezer in black the second time isnt it> ive completed the game in normal mode, and i only actually got stuck once for about 10 minutes. the answer to your solution is there is a ledge just to the right of the lower alter, run andd jump and you will land on a small platform then jusmp towards the ledge and then the door. Hope that helps :)

On hard mode all of the items you can "buy" are about three times as expensive. Also i found that Holy Water wasn't that good against bosses anyway, more effective against large hordes of "normal" daemons. Vitality stars are properly the best thing you can buy.

On hard mode bosses just wander around the place, hard enemies appear right from the start, and even some bosses change to harder ones.

I started on Hard Mode, and there are some major differences. And Nelo Angelo takes hardly any damage at all!

Like Blank said there are numerous panels on the wall that you need to hit until they light up completely. Nightmare will then turn solid and a small orb will come out of it's back or on top (you'll know it when you see it) when it does pop out, use "Boomerang" (allistor skill) and blast it with you hand guns. You'll need to re-light the panels on the wall when the lights fully go out to make Nightmare turn solid again.

I'm on mission 4 on Hard mode.

Hardly played it on hard though, been playing Gran Turismo 3 too much.

And I now have enough money for the Jaguar JX220. It's got great handling, good top speed but fairly poor acceleration.

But what the hell, it looks SO nice.

:-D
