With the recent thread having a link to the site with that guy showing off his record and giving tips i took note and gave em' a try and yes sir-ee they work.

No lie here, people. I got 48 seconds (hah hah hah). This afternoon when my mate was here, I got the Dodo and kept trying to get it from staunton island to portland. I kept landing in the sea, too. But then I made it. You get up speed along that main road on staunton which leads to the bridge, then at the top of the ramp pull up. You can fly all the way to portland island, and get higher than a lot of the buildings. It also works flying from Portland to Staunton. Sorry if I made you feel bad.
