Totally restored my faith in the Platform genre, Colorful and fun!
Especially the Isle Delfino inhabitents that can play a guitar type instrument. They are cool.

Not bad, the knowledge that a real proper Mario sequel maybe in development puts it in prespective more.

I would have super Ninjutsu Black Pikmin, and they would climb walls, shimmy, run acorss water, dissapear in puffs of smoke and generally kick enemy butt. And they would wear funky red kamekaze headbands.
I can just picture 100's of black Pikmin throwing grapple ropes up onto a large enemy's back, climbing up and then using funky Ninja moves to smash it up.

The Green ones could be camoflage ones for ambushes and stuff. That would be cool.

The Pink ones would just mince about and flirt with the Grub Dogs to distract them. Then when they're not looking the Ninja dudes would sneak up and use the Shaolin fist on them, killing them instantly.
