If you're interested, here's how it works:
I will write an infinitely repeating perl script on Luke's box that will ping my hostname every 10 minutes. If it gets a reply it sets my tagline as being online. If it doesn't it sets it as being online. Furthermore, as my host takes 10 minutes to update the DNS IP tables, a script will also execute when I connect that will also set my tagline to online.
Great, innit?
This is the command I'm executing: `links http://registration.reserve.co.uk/ edit_registration_process.php\ ?accountid=xxxxxxxx\&emailaddress= myholyleadfoot%40turbonutter.com \&firstname=Robin\&surname=Haswell \&nickname=Turbonutter\&tagline= Status:+Online\&address1=xxx \&address2=xxx%2C+xxx\&address3=Wetherby%2C+Leeds \&country=United+Kingdom\&postcode=xxx \&telephone=xxx\&dob=06%2F02%2F86 \&website=http%3A%2F%2F\&logintype=3month`
(minus loads of spaces, obviously)
However, it isn't regitsering me as logged in, because for some reason I can't get links to accept your cookie. This is possibly because you're not setting it properly or at all. Anyway, I'm not too clear on that. I was just wondering if I could pass any other variables in that string which would fake my login. Cheers.
