Very cool. Multipurpose video display for moving or still images. And it's a hand held video phone.

Shame about the price.

I dont think it is all that good...
a phone is for phoneing people, not for playing games or taking pictures...
Anyways who would pay more than £120 for a phone?

People have managed without video screens on their home phones since Mr Bell invented them.

Don't see why mobile users need to see the person that they're talking to. Unless they're talking to complete strangers, they probably have a good idea what the person looks like anyway.

All a load of toss that the phone companies need to make in order to sell people more phones...

Although I feel dismayed at writing in a topic created by Dave RJR (that is if gerrid's blatant speculation is correct) I feel it is important that I say my piece and then leave.

Ok why the hell would you want a videophone thingy ever. Never have I felt the urge to look at someone over the phone. If it takes off it will result in mass make-up purchasing from the female species and mass anoyance for liers everywhere.

The video quality will no doubt be extremely poor as well.

Asuprisingly large amount of people. The rest would steal them or buy stolen ones.

Truth is, I know a number of people who would spend £120 or more on a mobile phone. However at around £400 (not to mention subscription charges, etc), 3G handsets will take some time to become mainstream. But they will be mainstream - eventually.

Yeah, it'll take a lot of time for them to take off. And what about the battery power - you'd have to put the phone on charge everyday!
