Well it's not a topic on the Lord of the Rings game. It's a topic asking what game I should get.

Only one!

I know there are a few topics like this currently but they don't apply to me so here's mine.

I have a GAD to claim you see.

I have:

Gran Turismo 3
GTA3
Devil May Cry
Tekken Tag

Don't say Half Life! I have it on the PC.

And it's gotta be released.

I am currently torn between Twisted Metal Black and World Rally Championship.

So if you could write what one to get out of them then I'd really appreciate it.

Oh and if there is a game that you think I should get before any of those 2 then you can write that as well. Cheers.

If I had to choose between one of the two you mentioned, it would have to be TM:B. Although I've never played it, WRC is absolute pap.
The handling and general feel of the cars is all wrong and there's no sense of speed at all. You'd be better off getting Colin McRae 2 on the PC!

The first time I played TM: B I was rubbish, but after a little while when I got more used to the controls and weapons (as well as the repair stations) it was alot easier. It may of been on hard difficulty aswell.

Yeah I see what you mean with all the car games.

The thing is, with THPS3, I can't help but feel I want something new. I had number 2 on the Dreamcast and played it SO much. I loved it. So I suppose I'll love number 3, but with a new console, I think I want something which isn't going to feel too familiar. I might get THPS3 at a later date.

I was looking at J&D too but somebody told me it was just like Crash Bandicoot, which I despised!!!!

And then Tricky. Looks good. But it just doesn't look that good. I've seen loads of videos but it just doesn't ever seem like a 'great' game, regardless of the reviews - 95%+

I suppose I should really hire a few games out to really make up my mind. That's what I did with Agent Under Fire and it was fairly poor. Wanted Twisted Metal but it was on loan. Settled for AUF and was thoroughly disappointed.

The games that I currently have in my "brilliant games" category, and do not appear above are:

Jak and Daxter
Tony Hawk`s Pro Skater 3
SSX Tricky

Out of those two, its close, but the gameplay of TWB probably has an edge over the tricky handling of WRC. If you`re a graphics fan though, WRC.

You also mentioned Spy Hunter in a later post. Its said to be good, but only averagely so.

Overall, as you have GT3 and GTA3, unless you are a real car/racing fanatic, perhaps TWB and WRC are a little similar. Instead, a change of genre towards tricks or platformers could be verntured into via THPS3, Tricky, or J and D.
