Adventure remains a seperate group. But awards destroy them, Metroid Prime best FPS? It's barely a FPS at all, it's overwhelmingly obvious that it is an Adveture game.

Nope I'd dig up a 3000 word post about this made by games expert Ian Cutress but it was over a year ago now.
You see RPG is a generalistic term for Adventure game, Time based RPG, Turn based RPG, real time RPG, Survival Horror. The most important aspect of an RPG meanwhile is the absence of proper levels.
