Hey guys,
Just to let you know, we are planning a quick refresh of the forums this week. The page layouts and navigation are remaining the same but there'll be some minor cosmetic tweaks.
We'll also add the ability to add a small avatar under your nickname. But don't worry, for those of you that hate such fripperies, you'll be able to disable the display of avatars in your MyFreeola account.
With a bit of luck we'll be making these changes tomorrow.

How about an invisible lurker option, but it'll still list you as online. =)

Damn, i was going to suggest Freeola should hire her as a replacement for GAD

Can we give you more suggestions to improve the forum?
- Strike out text. (For corrections and jokes)
- Who's online list. (List of people logged in and lurking)
- Social Bookmarking forum. (Where I can post all my funny pics, news items etc)
- A profile page where we can list interests and hobbies.
- A list of the last 10 threads we last posted in, on our profile page.
- Notable election or some kind of member of the month status.
- A way to recommend threads/posts for GAD.
- Spoiler tags so we can chat about things without spoiling it for others.
- A list of new threads added in the last 24 hours.
- Freeola Credit for each post/thread we make and GADs we win. 1 Freeola Credit for each post, earn 10,000 and you'll get a persoinalised signed photo of Vexxxed and other prizes.
- A new lot of member statuses. JAT, Newbie, Regular, PirateNinja, Part of the Furniture.
- The "new!" this to disappear when I view it and only appear on threads that have new content.
- Favourite thread list. This is a list of all my favourite threads so I can monitor them and any posts made in them without having to jump from forum to forum.
- Polls, I love them, they can be great fun if used properly. Give Mods the option to delete any stupid ones.
- Regulars have purple names instead of dark blue. JATs have red and Newbies have orange.
- A Search page, this is so I don't have to keep using google. I'm sure others have wanted to do a search on the forum, one time or another.
- The WLTs split up again so we dont feel like we've been cheating merging all the old WLTs together.
- More EGADs, I enjoy them even though I havent taken part in the last 3 =/ sowwy.
- A revision of all the censored words. There are some that don't need to be censored anymore, like pocket monkey.
- More games like Bingo (or an alternative to bingo), I can think up simple games that need a tiny bit of programming but would be big hits for Freeola users to win GAD, not just forum posters.
- The option to select how many threads/posts we can see on our screens.
- GAD posts/threads should be in gold or atleast higlighted in some way like they use to be. It made them feel extra special.
