Nope didn't know that, but I've only had the connection since like 5pm...what happens when I reach 1gig?

You die...

Basically, if you exceed the 1gig limit 3 times in any 14 day period you'll get a warning letter...

Or if they're in a really bad mood, a phone call...

Ooooo harsh. Won't happen, it's hard enough to find stuff worth downloading anyways.

One annoying thing about broadband is that I can't see how long I've been connected and how much I've downloaded. Like with NTL dial up you could check that...I miss that little thing in the corner :(

I have been with Pipex for about a year now, they are really good, and no limit to how much you can download...
I love you pipex...

I want a T1 connection. Oh yes.

But broadband would be good.

However, 20 miles from Exeter is to distant.

If you have a firewall, then you can usually check it...

I'd recommend getting one too now you're permenantly connected to the net...

That's the thing though, Exmouth even has it, but not near enough for me it seems!

You could buy a really really long extension cable.....
