Does anyone know for sure how much the GC will cost when it is released, Some sites say £119, some say £199, some say £299, etc.

That's close to what I think. I also think they will make the launch date very close to the X-box's and that the Cube will cost £199.99 and memory cards will be as low as £9.99 (maybe only in SR though). Anyway, the prices will be great!

Ok heres my prediction *looks into crystal game boy* the gamecube will be released on march 15th and will cost £159.99, games will be as much as £44.99 and as cheap as £39.99 but no cheaper untill a couple of moths after, additional controllers will be between £24.99 and £29.99 and memory cards will be either £16.99 or £18.99...
thats my prediction and i reckon it'll be pretty close to the truth.

Also, speaking of GameCube in UK, I heard a rumour today that it could be released on the 12th of Aprill 2002. I heard this on the dodgy Italian channel 'Game Network' and it's apparently been floating around on the net. Have you heard it?? Personally, I think it's close, but too late a date. I still believe it'll arrive in March.

Maybe the price of the Gamecube in the UK will change to compensate for the Euro price, but i don't know what the exchange rate is for the Euro

Go to the US, and get any console price. The PS2, for example, launched for $300... it launched here at £300. Same story for the DC, PSX, N64, SNES etc etc...

it's even true of non-console goods...
In Britain we get ripped off
