Does anyone know for sure how much the GC will cost when it is released, Some sites say £119, some say £199, some say £299, etc.

About £150-£200, most likely to be around the £170 mark, which I would like to point out is still cheaper than the PS2 and X-Box. This information is based on news articals and import prices.
I read somewhere that in America it is priced at £140. I shouldn't think it will be that cheap in the UK though. I pretty sure it'll cost about £150-£170 like Ace_greg said.

Seems a little cheap considering the prices for PS2 and Xbox. It is common for us in the UK to be ripped off for consoles look at the £1 equals $1 pricing of the PS2 i.e. $299 in US and £299 in UK.

I reckon it'll be £200, even though there were rumours that it would be as low as £150!! Anyway, it'll be over £100 cheaper than it is to import one! I wonder if the price descision is a big reason as to why the launch date hasn't been announced yet??? Maybe they're still trying to decide on it?? I expect it to be cheap, cuz the games are only around £40 each. Maybe they're just not announcing a date cuz of the suspense and anticipation?? But I don't think it'll be delayed past the Spring.
Wouldn't it be nice for a suprise release from Nintendo of the Gamecube. How about...ummmm......January 1st!
