Hi, im new to GTA 3 and I wish to enter the third island. Does anybody know how long or how many missions it takes for the bridgesubwaytunnel to open?

Please note: I finished the game about 1 1/2 months ago.

After that I took the Cartel Cruiser, went to the subway (just around the corner), the train takes you straight outside the construction site without any resistance from the men in blue. Then the hardest part was getting a car and driving round the block to the required destination

Don't shoot at it while you're on the boat, there's too much rocking. Get off the boat on the left side of the runway (there will be a Cartel cruiser just ahead of you), shoot the three guys next to the Cartel cruiser then go onto the runway. You should just have enough time to take aim longitudinally down the runway towards staunton. Its much easier to shoot at it while You're on the runway because the plane comes straight towards you and so you won't need to use any left/right movement.

LOL! Yep I know exactly what you mean, I tried this mission about 10 times yesterday, the first 7 I couldn't shoot the plane down and then success!

Got all the packages, got back to the pontoon and got in my Cheetah and drove up to the top road with 5 or 6 stars and was bombarded by FBI cars.

Best advice I can give is use the Cheetah but head for the casino as quick as possible and get the police bribe, then head down the road (wrong way) infront of casino and take a left turn just under the bridge, there's another bribe. Getting the SPANK back to destination is alot easier with 3 stars than 5!

Struggling on Exchange mission now but have read a few tips from previous topics....try again later today.

the plane wiil always appear with about 20 secs to go... aim just above the plane and fire just before the plane reaches the target sight .....good luck cos getting the SPANK back to the building site is even harder.....take a barracks QL
