Well - I'm not fat, balding or 50 (yet), but ignoring the sweeping generalisation of the original question, I'd have thought that the perverts of this world would be trawling in other forums than this one. Still - the answer to the original question is that you *can't* tell. And I don't see how you will ever be able to, in what is still a non face-to-face environment (thank god). We all know the rules of engagement in these forums, and you just have to live with what might be going on.
