DENVER -- A man who told two women they were extremely beautiful was arrested on charges of harassment last week, Denver police said. Police said 32-year-old Jeff John Hergert approached the women and "expressed interest in them." He told each woman in two separate incidents that they were extremely beautiful and that they should consider modeling. Hergert was arrested and is being held on two counts of harassment. He is being held on a $10,000 bond.

Woman confuse me. I doubt even most of them know what they want ouf of life now. Anyways, I doubt what is said is all that happened. Something must've had happened in order for the cops to actually cuff him.

Typical.... tell them they are pretty its harassment, dont compliment them and there are no gentlemen left. The irony is if he walked around telling women they are ugly then he would probably be seem as an ass hole but at least he would be free.

this stuff would probably happen only in america where you can sue anyone for virtually anything. Perhaps theres more to the story. Maybe he was bugging them all evening, discovered that he says that to all women thus hell have no fury like a woman scorned.

Maybe he was a creepy guy who held a camera had his hands down his trousers when he said it or something.

Im a women who has experienced sexual harassment first hand, and it isnt nice.
BUT i do like a man to complement me its flattering and it makes me feel good about myself its just that some men do it in such a sleazy way.
i know its difficult for the guys out there but as long as you complement ladies in a gentlemanly way it should be ok, although i do understand that there are some ladies that might take things a bit too seriously and need to lighten up and have a bit of fun.
Afterall life is for having fun.

I guess it depends, if he was saying this whilst in full eye contact with the recipients of his affection then he'll probably get away with it.

If he was saying it to their brassieres, derrieres or any other iere-y part of their anatomies then yeah, probably a case of harassment.

It's probably worth adding that even if this story was never posted the fairer sex will continue to confound the male of the species for all eternity. The only rule that has ever been discovered, proven beyond doubt and set in stone so far is that men can't win this one.
