i find it.....ahem almost INSULTING that you assume all xbox gamers on this forums will be getting xbox live.

I didn't think I WAS in a broadband area... but yesterday I found out that I am... so I will eventually get X-Box Live. It's just a matter of when I can afford it and whether I will actually use it enough; getting my money's worth. I'll probably wait a while and see what online games I fancy before I make a final decision.
i should be getting mine early next week.This might be a bit of a stupid question but were did the rest of you lucky people that have already got xbox live get it earlier than the release date because no matter where i searched i could'nt get it before the release date?

Unfortunately i live in a very backwards area, which is very remote...almost as remote as the chance of ever getting broadband within 10 miles of my house!!!!
Therefore I will not be getting XBL for a very long time!!!

I have a little interest in Xbox Live and online gaming in general.
It all seems to be about one thing: competition. Winning and losing. I don't play games for these reasons.

It's not about winning and losing though, I've found that most people are there just to play games, you don't hear people desperately wanting to win, or moaning about losing. It's fun.
