The thing is, I want to add something to the page which finds out there full IP code including what company they are with so that I can report them. I've got one on my homepage, but the little sods go to the forums by just typing in www.viewandplay.co.uk/forums rather then going via the homepage.
Darn fools. Any ideas?
I've inserted it all and uploaded editprofile.php, but when I go to click on there names it says there is an error on the second line down.

And.. no. I don't want to come on MSN :) I haven't booted Windows in 14 days now (linux) and I really don't want to install a crappy port of crap software which I hated in the first place.

You need to whois their IP, or log their hostname instead of IP. Not sure how to do either, formerly because I don't know how, and latterly because I don't know what your forum's written in, or how you're logging IPs.
