You get the battery once you have the water key. You take it and put it in the empty box to power the elevator and bring it down the outside the mansion. Push the large crate from the elevator to underneath the statue pillar thing, reach up from on top of it and grab it.
My other problem is finding a container for the Chemical in the Infirmary. I have tried empty bottles for the Moltov Coctails and that doesn't seem to work.
