I've been working at Tescos for a while now. Worst job I've ever had. Pays squat. Had to work 9 hours on a Saturday, as well as schoolnights. But I finished today, and I can now afford a Gamecube.

Im taking the easy way out, getting one for a early birthday present. Although im only 13, also my sister worked in the Bakery part of Tesco and was rolling in cash, all she did was put bread on shelfs and pack bagettes.
I work at Somerfields, they pay less than Tesco's and I can foord a Gamecube on a weeks wages. 25£ at any Jhon Lewis partnership:D

Good for you. I wanna do the same, but I can't find a job. Hopefully it won't be in Tescos!! And with this dealy and some exams before the summer, I probably won't get my Cube till the summer. I'd like a widescreen TV, and I only have an un-branded TV (quite big) with no remote, and something so heavy it could make desk collapse! Currently crushing my N64!!! NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

Well done there, I'm sure all that working will pay off in the end. And now you don't need Tesco and their diddly-squat pay either. I suggest quitting and spending some quality time with your soon-to-be brand spanking new GameCube. :)
