Hi i'm making a new ROM website and was wondering what games you would like to see again off the MegaDrive and SNES.

I have a feeling SR will remove this topic cause it contains the word "ROM" but before they do i thought i would mention that ROM sites are not illegal. The only thing illegal is downloading ROMs that you don't own the original version of which i have clearly put on my site

When my site is finished i will post the address

harvest moon and F-Zero 1and2 are sorted but the Donkey kongs will be added later as they are BIG files for SNES ROMs.

Breath Of Fire will be sorted soon hopefully

I always wondered what the legal situation was with downloading ROMs??? Can you explain how legal or not this is please?

I have most of them ROMs i have also found a Star Fox 2 Beta version but is bad as it goes very glitchy in places. As for the F-Zero 2 i have found an american version just need to get permission to use it from the site

F-Zero 2 (this was only released in Jap I think, but I've seen it on the net)

I think there was also a Starwing sequel, but again it was only released in Jap...

Gunstar Heroes
Rocket Knight Adventures
Shining Force games

More stuff I can't think of...

Anyway, ROMs aren't illegal if you don't own the game IF you delete the ROM file after 24 hours. (so you are kind of allowed a 24 hour 'demo' period) But anyway, for consoles which are no longer making money (Snes, Megadrive, NES, Master System, Saturn, and PSX and N64 in the future) no-one really enforces that law. The companies aren't making money off them, so what's the point in enforcing it. But I wouldn't try putting N64, PSX, PS2 or any other Next gen ROMs on your site, or you could end up with a big fat lawsuit...
