Nintendo won't want Rare to go multiformat, and I doubt Rare want to put Nintendo in a strop...

There would go all their privelleges to Gamecube and Gameboy Advance develloping...

Besides, Rare have such a hardcore following. Nearly every single N64 owner bought Goldeneye.
That probably earn't them more than EA earns from a multiformat Fifa game. That's big figures.

They'll be happy how they are for now...

It would be great if Rare did go multi-format but I just dont think they will!!

I am going to take this as a bit of a laugh, and a bit of stating to obvious. One way or another, eventually Rare will have to defect to two consoles (in my opinion), because single platform gaming in their speciality is becoming less and less popular and they are being blatantly steamrolled by newer and better (only a few better ones, yes, I know!) companies. Rare will have to go to two consoles, or I fear sadly that their demise will be close at hand.
