Sorry, I'm sure this topic has been covered before, but for us new 'Cube owners which mag is best ?
NGC, Cube or any other one ?
(Obviously my main reason for buying a mag is impartial honest reviews)

I don't bother with magazines, well I just flick though the Reveiws Roundup at the back, but anyone reasonably well informed knows what out there.

I really don't like the way they over-hype, reveiw and walkthrough games months, (sometimes many months) before release.

And I used to be a full time staff writer for GB Action and SUPER Action many years ago, so I do know what goes on...

both CUBE and NGC are good but i dislike cube for their bias against PSO and i dislike NGC because... actually NGC are ok but CUBE are generall better in my opinion but at least NGC gave PSO a decent review *shakes fist at CUBE for giving it 7.5* ahem!

NGC NGC NGC...

Gforce is terrible, it only sells because of the DVD which isn't exactly good once you pop it in and watch it. And for those of you going to buy the new NGC, wait a few days, a new issue is due out tommorow (but me, a subscriber, still hasn't go it *cries )

Was that post an attempt at humour?

Because it sure was funny. :-)

EDGE - It is the greatest.

Even if it isn't GC exclusive.

More-so actually.

NGC, they're getting a little strict lately but that's cool.

Best mag by far in my opinion.

I always thought CUBE was a brightly colored fanboy mag, that spends more time bitching about how Sony stole things than reviewing games. But thats just my opinion.
