I'm getting SSX and Tony Hawks for Xmas, but I'm bored and will buy a game tonight on the way home.

Devil May Cry worth getting?
Does it have the shoddy control system of Resident Evil and that horrid inventory thing?

How similar is it to Res Evil, cos those left me cold.

Ah not my cup of tea, played it for an hour or two and havnt touched it since. Too Resident evil for me.

devil may cry is an extremely good game, worth every penie but a little short in my opinion.

i just purchased it @ £38.00 and it looks blinding - well worth the cash in my opinion although on easy mode it will take you a short amount of time (under 5 hours) although hard is a challenge, GTA3 is a laugh too!

Devil May Cry is more action based rather than survival horror. Almost a completely different style of game, the only real similarity being the undead monsters.

How long does the game last?

The controls are much better than RE, but the inventory system remains - although slightly different to that in RE.

There are more attacking moves available in DMC than there have ever been in RE, and the more you power-up Dante the more moves you get. Well worth a purchase in my humble opinion.

Only played the demo but the control system was far more intuitive than Resident Evil. Infact I played DMC more than Code Veronica Z, oops X.

Only thing I heard was its a bit short.
