Hopefully this is all a big joke... but I can't look at that picture and not see an X-Box and Cube...
If Yamauchi has the opportunity to buy enough of Rare to get them Cube exclusive and doesn't... i'll shoot the * myself!
Anyway... make what you will of that - but my experience tells me it's all a joke.
Comments...
And not laughing, PS2 owners... us Ninties are VERY sensitive!
Game: Wants PD2 on PS2 so everyone can see how much better it is than MGS2! :D
Unlucky Non-Ninty's.
The greatest UK develloper is Nintendo and Nintendo only.
Anyway, do you REALLY think Nintendo would let an awesome developer like Rare go without a fight? And if Nintendo ARE going to stick to their 'short and sweet' strategy, then they need developers who can create epic titles, and Rare proved they can with the huge Jet Force Gemini, and the really tough Perfect Dark. Dinosaur Planet: Starfox Adventures looks to be another epic, so Nintendo really do need them. And what Ninty needs, Ninty gets.
As for buying Rare they already have but will rare buy back?
NOt if they want to keep Donkey Kong and Star Fox they won't!

Don't be silly. I cut out a fair bit of what you said, keeping the 3 main views.
And why I quoted...
If I hadn't, according to sods law, someone would have posted a little message and thought I was talking to them, messing absolutely everything up.
It always happens, but only when you DON'T prepare for it by quoting a message.
It also meant that I could see what you wrote while I replied.
Besides, atleast I wasn't like one of those idiots who quote a 1000 word post, just to say "Good Point! :-)" at the end of it.

Yet they had a good old gloat when they got the Resident Evil series....

Someone somewhere is obviously telling porkies.
I think that Tendobox and the PS2 mag will be biased in certain directions, the PS2 mag focusing on the fact that "Capcom didn't say no more PS2 games" and Tendobox going on about how the whole company is sick of the PS2...
I think that Edge's story about the Resi creator hating the PS2 hardware will be the most accurate, and most like too as his superior's will be enjoying the big user-base profits.
