I'm about to order a new PC but wahted to know whihc processor to go for outof AMD and Pentium and which chip would be best reccomended!!

I'm not so much up on hardware as I was, but last I heard, the AMD chips were just as good as the Intel chips (if not better!), but cheaper.
I think the only reason not to go for AMD is if you need a specific MMX function or some crazy thing like that. Certainly, if you are just doing photoshop / illustrator type work you shouldn't have any probs, but maybe if you use the latest games you might get some glitches.
