Nonsense story, bad characterisations.
Generally confused and ends in the middle of the story.
The vision of hobbits is amateur at best, the pacing is all wrong and Golum looks like a total joke.
Orcs are stupid and not scary and Frodo looks like a retarded child wearing middle-earth clothes.
An utter, utter disappointment.
I have never seen such a shabby cartoon in my life.
don't watch this, it will ruin the Peter Jackson version being released on Wednesday.
...oh, you thought I meant the film was rubbish? Dunno, haven't seen it yet.
But y'all know how much I love elves and pixies and wizards.
I'm sure I'll love it.
I am weak.
I shall do a post on him, for I am at work and bored already.
I liked Cable Guy
"So we're playing 'prison rules'?"
Tomb Raider was the worst it was one of the films on offer on the plane home from America about 2 months and a bit ago. I watched 5 minutes of it then thought that it was rubbish and turned it off. However, the person next to me in the cramped confines of economy was getting really into it... all I wanted was to go to sleep except everytime I tried to he would start making gun noises and drooling over Angelina Jolie. Now I was getting really desperate for sleep by then and my head was throbbing with a painful headache. So when he went to the toilet 5 minutes later I took drastic action... I used a knife to cut the headphone cable so that it was still attached but wouldn't work anymore. When he got back and eagerly put his headphones back on a look of bewilderment spread across his face, at which point I turned to him and said taht the sound had stopped working on our row but there was a seat free four rows in front. Thankfully the guy bought it and moved off, leaving me the luxury of two seats sleeping space.
That saga makes tomb raider the worst film ever in my books.. apart from Hotel Paradiso but we won't even go there. Then there was the Lord of the Rings cartoon.. I was little and my parents taped it as I reading the hobbit at the time. After 20 minutes I ran out the room and threw up and then refused to watch it. Even at a young age I could see that it was corrupting my own images of the characters with its general crapness.
'The Cable Guy' just annoyed me. It annoyed me to the point of making my head hurt but I had to watch because I was at the cinema with someone. It was too loud to go to sleep and even if I closed my eyes Jim Carey's satan voice was piercing my conscience. In musical terms Jim Carey's voice is a triangle, no matter how many guitars and drums you have pounding away the triangle will always pierce through all of them. Well, no matter how hard I tried to block out Carey's voice it kept coming through until it had engulfed my thoughts and swallowed them whole. I had his voice ringing in my head all night and on the point of insanity I went and took an aspirin and it went away. It was bad though. I have been unable to watch a Carey film since... Which is great actually because they are generally awful.
I pity anyone that buys the cartoon,I really do.
When I saw it on TV a few years ago I just assumed that they'd split it up, and the second part was going to be on the next day!
Really, they left it there, towards the end of the second book?
When will you people listen?
Also, avoid Tomb Raider, Pearl Harbour and..oh yeah..right.
