Xbox slipped another 5%, a fact that has surprised many given the much-heralded launch of Xbox Live last week, and the media attention it gained.

I'm not telling you anything, if you're happy with an Xbox then fine. There's no question though, that if the PS2 was £199.99 and the GameCube was £129.99 that the Xbox, was worth £299.99.

I struggle to believe that somehow.

I'll tell you now, a hell of a lot of people felt cheated by Microsoft - some of them I actually know. Ok.. you've got Halo, which is pretty good. But what else is there? I know I'd certainly be bloody annoyed if all I was compensated with was two games out of a poor, limited selection and the worst designed controller out of the three consoles.

And who the hell are you to tell me how happy I was with the console, and whether it was worth the money? To. Me. It. Was. Worth. It! Please, remove your ignorant head from your stuck-up arsse, and realise that different people might have different opinions.

No. In the line-up, there happened to be many games I was planning to buy, so choosing just 2 games was actually a difficult choice.
Go on then. Try and find someone who bought the Xbox for £300, and is desperately unhappy with it (apart from Wookiee - he's just picky ;-)). Try to find someone who bought the console for £300, and feels they have been ripped off.

Relatively, it just isn't worth £299.99.

Oh yeah. Great. A choice of two games from a rubbish line-up and a controller. Ooo.. it was a rip-off.

You're forgetting that the Xbox did so well around Christmas due to its tremendous drop in price. :-)

No, that is untrue. Enough said.
> Yeah, but it went down to £200.00 a few weeks later! What a rip!
I got £100 worth of accessories to cover it though.
And still the fact remains it was an added bonus for me. I bought it at £300, thinking that would be all I would get. And I was more than happy with that.
Then microsoft decided to give me 2 games and a controller. Excellent!
