Ok I get into these "discussions" with my dad about games and according to him this is why the GC is going to go down:

No DVD/CD playback - "I dont care what Nintendo said about 'its just a games machine', Ps2 and Xbox are dvd players aswell which makes tham more useful"

No backwards compatability with older Nintendo games - " the Ps2 is a good console because it is has the PSone Back catalogue"

Cutesy/Folksy games - "Nitendo always make games that are cute and kiddie like, so it doesnt appeal to a mature audience"

Nintendo dont have the financial clout that Sony and Microsoft have - "up against them Nintendo cant fund the GC for long"

Theres not enough games available - " the PS2 and Xbox have tonnes more games than GC"

Released to late after rivals - " the Ps2 is selling loads Because it was out first"

Some of his points are valid, but it reveals to me the sad fact that Im am a NInty fanboy at heart as I dispute all the above statements with " yaeh, well Nintendo are, erm, really, erm ,good and I like them"

Do I have to point out that most of the people who go on about how adult the PS2's games are are about 12. Seriously, look at the spelling and grammar in the PS2 forum, they're either pre-teens, or they're just really stupid, either way, it proves a point.
