I am getting a game this week but do not know what to get.Im looing for either a ps2 game or a pc game.Please help.........

It always makes me laugh when someone takes the rip for poor spelling and then makes a mistake as well, it is PITY that you are looking for, so much for bein "one step ahead of the pack"

In my opinion, which is a very good one, either get Ape Escape 2 on the PS2 which is a very good game, though not very publicised, or get Sim City 4 on the PC. SC4 is very good, as long as you stick with it. People say cities don't have enough variation... well, you have to let it grow. Which takes time. But, they're both great games with great gameplay and great graphics.

I remember trying it not that long ago and I got fed up with it almost straight away.

I'd give The Sims a miss if i were you. I have it and its not great. Too repetitive. Champ Manager would probably be worth your 40 quid.
I would have to agree with Lalakersrule, Championship Manager 4 is the game to get if you can wait to friday.

If you like Vice City and The Getaway then you'll like Hitman 2: Silent Assasin, I've got it and I think that it is brilliant.The Sims is good,but not great.It depends what sports you like,if you like football then you should buy FIFA 2003 or Pro Evolution Soccer 2.If you like golf then you should get Tiger Wood's PGA Tour Golf 2003.If you like racing then you should get Gran Turismo 3: A-Spec.

I'd suggest to wait a week and then buy Champ Manager 4 seeing as you said a PS2 OR PC game. Be warned though, stock enough food, drink and toiletries to last you around about a year as that's how long you'll be stuck at home playing this game.
