Hi.
We have some friends who we play Mario Party with at Christmas.
I want a PS2, but I have to find a game of a similar no-brain silliness.
I want to get a PS2 and Silent Hill 2, which I can have as long as I get a nice game (no violence, no long game play, pick up and put down, no dying or blood or guns).
Not platform based or quest based (she doesn't like Zelda or Tomb Raider).
I'm not sure if anything like this exists. What are the kids playing these days? (Not the disenfranchised youth, the REAL kids, 6 to 12 ish).
Your help in this matter will mean that I can get a nice new PS2.

Games like SSX are also good fun in multiplayer if everyone is equally skilled.
Klonoa 2 might be a good choice, It is a platformer but it's one of these laid back Kiddy games, it's very good ;-)
Crash Bash is like Mario Party, and if you don't have a PS1, use the game as an excuse to get a PS2, saying that PSones are too old, but the PS2 runs PSone software.
