Do any of you people out there get slagged off for liking Nintendo? Most of my friends like the Sony Playstation 1 and 2 better or the Dreamcast. They make fun of Me and Nintendo because they say it is old and crap but that isn't true, well it doesn't have any games coming out anymore.
They also say the Gamecube will be rubbish and all it's games are pathetic and i'll be the only one who buys it!
There are about 10 of my friends who like the Nintendo 64 and half of them get made fun of too. Does it happen to you? They try and talk me into buying a Playstation 2 or get it for Christmas and tell me not to get the Gamecube but i'm getting it no matter what!! They can't stop me (unless they break my legs or something like that.)
When the Gamecube comes out and when it will be so successful that i can finnaly make fun of them instead of ways tring to back Nintendo up!

Multiplayer... but all the ps2 owners and non-console owners are pants, and even if you even the match ( eg, up with health levels, teams and sims, perfect dark), it's not anything like when i lived at home, a couple of houses away from a fellow ninty, and i could fill the other 2 pads with people from within 3 minutes of my house.
Still, home for christmas tomorrow. Let the good times roll!

every on nuused to like the playstation at my old school but i was lik (shrug) but then it turned from 1 (me) owning the n64 to about five more other people

I'm open about my love for Nintendo! I rip into other people who don't own a Nintendo console, cos there just denying themselves the pleasure of playing on some of the greatest video games man has produced!

But the good news is that 'Agent Under Fire' will be out on the Cube, eventually!! I read that in the news section. And it'll be much better than the PS2 version, i'm sure! But not as good as Perfect Dark, no way.
That p**ses me off. Me, my cousin and my friend were talking and my cousin brought up the new James Bond game -agent under fire up and I said I think i'd like Goldeneye 64 better and my friend said "do you still like that piece of crap? That game and console are ancient. How can you like that compared to a PS2?"

That happens to me, as i'm the ONLY person who likes Nintendo that I know!! Other people say they've played it and it's 'OK'??? It's one of the best consoles ever made, miles better than anything by Sony (i'll stop there so I don't get another pointless argument going)!!
Everyone (but me) thinks Nintendo is 'just for kids' and 'babyish', when they've never even really played a Nintendo game in their life!!

Nope dont have that problem around here, as we all decided to get the same console so we could swap games and play against each other. Of course Nintendo is the King when it comes to Multi-player, and many good platformers etc.
In college someone brought in a Playstation, and all the Nintendo owning people could beat the Sony owning people on their own console on games that we have never played. Funny enough the subject never came up again!
