Woohoo! Just completed Jak & Daxter.

Does that make it another unsatisfyingly short game? I don't think so. I *have* been playing it solid since getting it on Friday evening, with only the inconveniences of work, eating/drinking, going to the loo and sleeping getting in the way - although the sleep has been minimal...

Fantastic game - just couldn't leave it alone once I started playing. Maybe it could have been longer, but it certainly is *not* disappointing - it's the most fun I've had from a game in ages - and that includes GTA3.

Anyway, I won't spoil the ending for you - but fans of the game will be glad to hear that the way is left open for a sequel.

"What? ANOTHER sequel?" you say?

"Yes," I say... "and the sooner the better!"

48 hours would be the time it takes to complete a Final Fantasy game. Lots of game play in Jak and Daxter. With DMC, THPS3, Shenmue 2(For the DC) and Jak and Daxter i'll be overwhelmed at christmas also still playing Tricky as I have 2 trick chapters to complete with Elise then I will have unlocked everything for her. Then I will have to do the other 11 characters.

Ill be getting this as soon as SR send it me, though i only claimed it yesterday. Glad to see that even though you completed it quickly that there are many hours of game play in it, Should take me a while to finish as i also have Pro Evo and Tony Hawks 3 to play.

Congrats Wookiee.

I don't think I'll be getting this game until the new year as I've still got three games on the go at the moment.

Still it's on my shopping list and hopefully my christmas list!

Must go and see the parents about the christmas list ;)

Err... lots of hours...

From about 7pm on Friday until about 3am Saturday morning... around 8 hours there...

About 10am Saturday morning to 2am Sunday morning, with breaks for food, drink, toilet etc... another 16 hours there.

Got up very late on Sunday, had dinner, watched the Arsenal v Villa game... played J&D from around 6.30pm until about 1:30 Monday morning... another 7 hours there.

Monday & Tuesday - played after work from about 7pm until 2am the following morning - 14 hours there...

And tonight I played from about 7pm again, and finished it at a few minutes to ten. So another 3 hours.

So that's about... 48 hours of gameplay. Not too bad at all!

I think that Jak & Daxter is a good game but I don't think it is as fun as GTA3.
