Welcome to my quiz!

Below are 8 rounds of 5 questions, giving a maximum possible score of 40. There are a mixture of easy to difficult questions. All questions are worth one mark. I will upload the answers in a week or so. Please make sure you put your reply in a spoiler box, so that other users cannot see your answers.

As usual, please refrain from cheating, either by looking at other people's answers or searching through the internet. There is no prize for this quiz, it is only a bit of fun, so you will only be cheating yourself.

I have tried my best to write questions that have clear answers, so to avoid any debate as to the correct answer.

Thanks pete. I'm not expecting anyone to get all of these. Safe to say, I had to do a bit of research for most of the answers. Some of them you either know or you don't, some you can guess, some are quite easy, so I thought it was a good mixture myself :)

Have a go anyway, it's a bit of fun.

Oh, and nice answers TezChi. Worth putting a guess down for some of them I think ;)

Please note question 8 has had information added to it to help prevent confusion.
