At the moment i seem tobe going through a patch where i seem to have got a load of games in a very short time. This maybe down to 3 GAD wins, but i have too bought a few games over the last month:

Pro Evo
GTA 3
Smackdown 3
Tony Hawks 3
And i just claim Jak and Daxter tonight.

Now, in just 4 weeks 5 games is alot, and thats no bad thing, i love the fact that i have got so many new games in such a short time but its causing me a problem. I dont have the time to finish them all and play them as much as i possibly want. Pro Evo gets the most attention and GTA 3 has had been for a while. SD 3 is not that bad and i like a jab at it and Tony Hawks 3 is just so addictive, i cant find the time to play them all. then J & D will be coming soon not to mention DMC, silent hill 2 and Tricky at christmas. Im getting to many new games at one go, this has got to be a record for me! :D

I was getting bored of new games. I found this to be a real problem. Back in March, up to about september, I really found it to be a novelty to buy a new game, but after september it was becoming a common thing to go to the shops and buy a new game.

To solve this, I am not going to buy a new game until about Feb (unless I get some for Xmas). I am now spending my money on new things, such as Action replay 2 V2, Simpsons boxset (which I have already bought) and an official DVD remote after christmas. I find this much more enjoyable, as it is a nice and this means that when I do buy a new game, it will be fun again and another nice change!!

These are the games that are vying for my attention at the moment:

- Devil May Cry
- Jak & Daxter
- Tony Hawk's 3 Pro Skater
- Shenmue 2
- Super Smash Bros' Melee
- Luigi's Mansion
- Capcom vs SNK 2
- Silent Hill 2
- Pro Evolution Soccer
- Rogue Squadron: Rogue Leader 2

I've got to cut down on my spending habits. Now I'm in a dilemma, do I pick up a modem for my PS2 so I can play Hawk's online or pick up SSX Tricky instead?

Decisions, decisions...

Think of poor me, I have to contend with

GTA3
Pro Evo
Tony Hawks 3
Devil May Cry
Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance
World Rally Championship,

Not bad for a console without any decent games, all of the above are held as the best of their genre released so far in the UK, damn good if you ask me..........

In the last like 3 - 4 months, my PS2 collection has exploded from 4 - 20 games ;-)) Thing is, all of a sudden, wave after wave of excellent games are coming out every week and me being the videogames equivelent of a drug addict ends up buying them each week ;-))

Looks like the trend is gonna continue for awhile looking at the release dates at games i want ;-))

I too have the same problem. I got 5 games in the last 4 weeks and I am bout to get another 4-5 before the end of christmas. I really dont get enough time to spend on the games so I am forced to play each game for about 20-30 minutes each day. I am going to settle down and only invest in few games in january and february so I will get more time to spend on my favourite titles

Getting too many games at one time can be a bad thing.

Sounds stupid but simple in essence. You appreciate somthing much more if you have it in small quantities. This can be applied to pritty much any practical situation.

Just try and take one game at a time, its the best way to get the most out of a game.

If i do purchase a few games close together then I try not to open the latest game I bought and save it until I get bored of the current game.
