One thing has always confused me in games. Why is it that barely any doors EVER have handles that rotate, twist or whatever to open. All they do is swing backwards and forwards, backwards and forwards.
And another thing - the doors never get blown off their non-existent hinges. The only occasion a door has been blown up is when the alien slave bursts through a door in one of the early half-life maps.
Can anybody prove me wrong? Do doors do more than swing both ways?

Max Payne, very early on you blow a door off it's hinges.
Resident Evil 2 had door knobs that turned in it, so yeah I can prove you wrong :-P
